Backstage Pass

The Homecoming Back Stage Pass is your passport to fun and exciting week of Homecoming! Bring the ticket to the designated events to be stamped. At the end of the week, if you have 4 of the 8 stamps turn you ticket in to be entered into the Homecoming Back Stage Pass Drawing.

One lucky student will win airfare and hotel accommodations for two in the home of Broadway plays and musicals, New York City courtesy of STA Travel!

Where to Get your Ticket

Registered students can pick up your Back Stage Pass at the following locations and events starting September 5, 2005.

• Coffman Memorial Union Info Desk
• St. Paul Student Center Info Desk
• West Bank Skyway Info Desk
• Student Activities Office, first floor of Coffman
• Residence Halls
• Melrose Student Suites
• Individual Greek chapters
• University Bookstores

At events in September including:

• Funk at the Fred
• Paint the Bridge
• Homecoming Events

Broadway Ticket Events

At these designated events there will be a specific location to get tickets stamped. U-card will be required to verify ticket ownership at some events. You can also view the full Homecoming calendar, which has all Backstage Pass events noted with an .

Here are the Broadway Backstage Pass events to obtain stamps at:

Sunday, Sept. 18:

Homecoming Kickoff Party, Superblock, 5pm

Monday, Sept. 19:

Lip Sync Competition, Northrop Auditorium, 7pm

Tuesday, Sept. 20 OR Thursday, Sept. 22:

Activities Fairs, 10am-2pm.

Tuesday’s fair is located on Coffman’s Front plaza, Wednesday’s fair is located at the St. Paul Student Center Terrace.

Wednesday, Sept. 21:

Residence Life Events, Coffman Front and Riverbend Plazas, 11am-4pm.

Thursday, Sept. 22:

Johnny Holm Band Concert, Livestock Arena, St. Paul Campus, $5 for U of M students with valid U Card/$7 general.

Friday, Sept. 23:

Community Lunch and Pepfest, Gateway Plaza

Friday, Sept. 23:

Cheer Competition, Pep Rally, Royalty Coronation and Bonfire, River Flats, East Bank. Starting at 6pm.

Anytime before September 24, visit the STA Travel branch in Coffman to receive a bonus stamp!

Turning in Ticket

Students with four or more stamps can enter into the drawing by turning their passes in at any designated Broadway Backstage Pass event or at the Coffman Union Information Desk. All Broadway Backstage Passes must be turned in no later than 11:00pm on September 23th to be entered into drawing. U-card must be present to turn in ticket.

Winner will be announced at Saturday’s Homecoming Football game and contacted via phone.

Broadway Ticket Rules

• One Person per Ticket
• Forging of ticket or stamp will lead to disqualification
• The Homecoming Executive Committee holds the right to confiscate tickets at anytime
