Blood Drive

Tuesday, October 31st
Great Hall 10:30am - 4:30pm

From its beginning, the American Red Cross has formed a community service of generous, strong and decent people bound by beliefs beyond themselves. The honor, spirit and resources of the American people come forth with neighbors helping neighbors in need during earthquakes, floods, fires, storms and also for the deeply personal and often quiet disasters that require the gift of blood.

Please help your community by donating! It's quick and easy!

"Fill the Barrels" Food Drive

Help support Second Harvest Heartland by participating in the University of Minnesota's "Fill the Barrels" food drive during the week of Homecoming (Oct. 30 - Nov. 4). Five barrels will be located around campus: sights include the Information Desks inside Coffman Memorial Union, the West Bank Skyway and the St. Paul Student Center, one barrel at the Recreation Center, and one barrel will be at each Homecoming event. Our goal is to fill 10 barrels full of food! Please donate non-perishable food items such as cereal, rice, boxed meals, canned tuna, ham or chicken, beef stew, peanut butter, canned fruits and veggies, and instant potatoes. To learn more, visit Second Harvest Heartland.
