Registrations are being accepted for the 2007 Homecoming Parade!
The Homecoming Executive Committee invites you to participate in the 2007 Homecoming parade cruisin' through the U on November 3rd, 2007 at 2pm. Don't be a square, participate in the University of Minnesota Homecoming 2007: Golden Oldies!
Created to encourage school spirit and to increase interest in attending Gopher athletic events, the 2007 Homecoming Parade also promotes unity among students, staff, faculty, alumni and the surrounding community.
Student group parade participants promote diverse on-campus involvement opportunities that meet the needs of students and the campus community. Student organizations who wish to use the parade as means of job recruitment, political campaigning, or other 3rd party activities must register to participate in the parade as a non-University entry.
As stated in the 2007-08 student group handbook, "student groups cannot reserve spaces for use by other student groups, University departments, outside groups or individual use to provide access or reduced costs in using University facilities, services, or staff. Providing this inappropriate access to student group benefits may result in disciplinary action against your group."
Parade Registration Deadline has been extended to October 19th, 2007
Parade Registration is Closed.
- For all registered Student Organizations and University affiliated groups, registration is free.
- For all non-University affiliated groups, the parade entry fee is $75.
- For all groups wishing to participate in the float competition, the entry fee is $75.
- Due to limited space, entries will be assigned according to their date of registration.
- All entries are subject to approval by the Homecoming Executive Committee.

After submitting your online application, you must mail a check payable to the University of Minnesota for all applicable entry fees to:
