About Spring Jam

Spring Jam is the student-planned campus-wide week of festivities during spring semester. Celebrating the warm weather and the end of the school year, Spring Jam is the largest student-run event at the University of Minnesota. The student committee plans many different events throughout the week, including live music performances, Ballyhoo, skit competitions, novelty entertainment, comedians, hypnotists, an art fair, and a variety of other events. Numerous student organizations, such as the residence halls and the Greek community, form teams and compete during Ballyhoo, skit competitions, and the student band competition. This year's theme is "Stayin' Alive in 2005" aka a tribute to the seventies!
