YMCA 5K Run / Walk

Gather your friends together and run, or walk, the YMCA 5K on the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus! The race will take place on Saturday, April 28th at 10am and benefits the University YMCA and its programs. Cost to participate is $15 and registration is at 8:30am.

Van Cleve Park Clean Up

Picture it: A warm and sunny day and you and your friends head to the park to play a game of recreational baseball, but there is litter everywhere and the field isn’t very pleasant to play on. That’s not fun. To change this, the Spring Jam Committee is putting their hands together to clean up Van Cleve Park. Join us for general litter pick-up and landscaping tasks on Friday, April 27th from Noon – 2pm.

The park is close to campus and in a neighborhood occupied by many college students which will make it convenient to stop by and lend a helping hand. Van Cleve Park is located east of Dinkytown in the Como Neighborhood on the corner of 15th Ave. and Como. Address: 901 15th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.
