We look forward to meeting first year commuter students at Welcome week!


Here are the specific events that the Commuter Connection will be hosting during Welcome Week, September 2-7, 2009:

Wednesday, September 2nd
  • Commuter Connection Open House: 3-4 p.m. in Room 236 Coffman
  • Stop by our lounge space after checking into Welcome Week! Meet other commuter students and get a free door prize!
  • Commuter Kick-off: 5-7 p.m., Coffman Front Plaza
  • While eating dinner, stop by the Commuter Kick-off for a free, delicious dessert! Also, meet other commuters, play lawn games, sign-up for door prizes, and enter the large give-away taking place on Friday night during the Commuter Student Reception for U-Passes and a parking contract!
Friday, September 4th
  • Commuter Student Reception: 6-8 p.m. in Goldy's Gameroom (Coffman basement)
  • While eating dinner with your WW small group, join the Commuter Connection for free bowling and billards. Also, be present for the large give-away of the U-Passes and parking contract at 7:30 p.m.
We will also have a table at the Explore U Fair on Saturday from 1:30-4:30 in Mariucci Arena, so check us out!


Commuter Connection is named Outstanding Undergraduate Campus Life Program

Congratulations to the Commuter Connection for receiving the Tony Diggs Excellence Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Campus Life Program. This award recognizes student groups that have been established for more than three years who have demonstrated significant success and development in following the mission and goals of their group. Congratulations!


Study Buddy Program

What: Looking for a study group or want to let your expertise in a subject shine? We're organizing a Study Buddy Program to help you locate others who are interested in studying the same subjects as you.
When: Study meetings will be scheduled based on the availability of participants.
Where: Locations will be determined based on participant preference.
