Paint The Bridge 2008
Cancellation Announcement
Thank you for your interest in the annual Paint the Bridge event. Unfortunately, as stated in an August 22, 2008 e-mail from Vice President Kathleen O'Brien, structural concerns have been identified with the pedestrian level of the Washington Avenue Bridge. Due to these concerns, Student Unions and Activities (SUA) has cancelled this year's Paint the Bridge event. The existing panels will remain as they are and student organization content will remain unchanged.
Safety is a top priority. Although a portion of the pedestrian level will remain open, there will not be enough room to put on this event safely while still allowing for traffic flow across the bridge.

MPAC Presents: Campus Arts Festival

Shop right here on campus! Artists working in all media and genres, including jewelry, pottery and painting will display and sell their work. Student and local musicians will perform throughout the day.

Find your niche on campus. All of these fairs showcase hundreds of student groups and involvement opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
Registration for the 2008 fall activities fairs is now closed. (The deadline was Monday, September 8th at 4:00pm).
Pre-registered groups must check-in at the fair before 10:00am otherwise their table will be given away.
Groups that did not register before the deadline may still be able to get a table for the MPLS and St. Paul Activities Fairs. Tables will be given away during check-in on a first-come-first-serve basis the day of the event.
Minneapolis Activities Fair: Tuesday, Sept 16th, 2008 from 10:00am-2:00pm, CMU Front Plaza. Check-in from 9:00am-10:00am.
St. Paul Activities Fair: Monday, Sept 22nd, 2008 from 10:00am-2:00pm, SPSC Front Terrace. Check-in from 9:00am-10:00am.
