Our principle activities include community outreach and education as it pertains to forestry. Professional networking.We operate a Natural Resources specific tutoring program on the St. Paul campus

How this group's activities benefit the University community:

Forestry has been a part of the University community for over one hundred years. This society contributes to that community by providing an anchor for student, faculty, and professional collaboration as well as providing students with a peer provided assistance in areas that are not well represented by the tutoring services available elsewhere on campus.

How this group fits into its categories:

Xi Sigma Pi was the first national forestry honors society, with our chapter, the Delta chapter, being the fourth chapter admitted into the society. The society supports the furthering of academic excellence and community outreach and service in and around the University.

How to get involved with this group:

Please feel free to email any of the officers for more information, as our meeting times may vary and most likely will be monthly. Application to the society occurs annually.
