To empower members to achieve personal and professional fulfillment by developing confidence, self-esteem, interpersonal skills and leadership vision; to represent the interests of the membership to health-care professionals and the community-at-large.

Group's principal activities, events, or programs:

Our principle activities involve fundraisers and events centering on breast cancer which is our fraternity's national platform. Fraternity events include the following: breast cancer awareness month, an annual bingo tournament; breast cancer care package assembly; volunteering at the Minneapolis Hope Lodge, and Relay for Life. We also endeavor to educate high school and local university students about pharmacy as a profession.

How this group's activities benefit the University community:

Our activities increase student and faculty awareness of pharmacy and breast cancer. We provide a professional environment to network, build lasting relationships, contribute to the community, and nuture professional development.

How this group fits into its categories:

Our fraternity is open to pharmacy students. All members are student pharmacists enrolled at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. We aim to supplement our educational development through fellowship, outreach, and leadership.

How to get involved with this group:

Our fraternity meets every Tuesday during the lunch hour in Moos Tower. We hold three open meetings at the beginning of each semester. During this time we welcome and inform prospective members of the Kappa Epsilon expectations, opportunities, and pledging process.
