Material Advantage is a student run organization enabling its members to explore opportunities outside the University in ways such as volunteering, competition and contests, touring businesses, and social events with peers, professors, and other professional organizations.

Group's principal activities, events, or programs:

Tour local businesses, travel to compete in competition and contests,
opportunities to volunteer, social outings with peers, professors, and
business recruiters, interact with other professional student groups.

How this group's activities benefit the University community:

We create a platform to challenge what you have learned so far, to put your
knowledge to the test via competition and contests with the whole of Material
Advantage at national meetings.

How this group fits into its categories:

The purpose of Material Advantage is to advance its members knowledge and exposure to Materials Science and Engineering.
