The mission of AISCC is to promote cultural diversity develop leadership in American Indian students of the U of M, assisting building understanding of American Indian people, issues, history and culture by bringing in native scholars and hosting events open to the entire university campus.

Group's principal activities, events, or programs:

Ethel Curry Powwow, Frybread Fridays, Winter Feast and Storytelling, Honoring Native Women Luncheon, as well as various other events throughout the school year.

How this group's activities benefit the University community:

Our activities provide education about and expose to American Indian cultures and people to the campus community, in addition to providing opportunities to have fun and make new friends.

We fit into the cultural category because the main focus of our group is to promote American Indian culture to the University of Minnesota campus community.

The best way to get involved in our group is to visit the AISCC in 204 Coffman Union! You can get information about upcoming events and activities, and sign up as an official member. You can also join our mailing list to recieve updates about upcoming AISCC events.
