Fraternal orgnization devoted to community service and uplifting of students at the University of Minnesota.

Group's principal activities, events, or programs:

The Psi chapter bases each of its event on the national objectives of the fraternity which include: to unite college men of culture, patriotism, and honor in a bond of fraternity; to encourage honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor; to promote the spiritual, social and intellectual, and moral welfare of members; to assist the aims and purposes of colleges and universities; and to inspire to service in the public interest.

How this group's activities benefit the University community:

The activities hosted by the Psi chapter benefit the community by promoting positive aspects of Greek life, as well as provide opportunities for students to fully enjoy their college experience by participating and/or attending the events. Along with this we bring a very culturally diverse group of young me to the University of Minnesota greek community.

The Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha fits into the category of fraternal organization because the chapter was chartered at the school on April 19, 1924, making it officially recognized as a fraternity on this campus.

How to get involved with this group:

In order to be considered for membership into Kappa Alpha Psi, aspiring applicants must first possess the following: be a male student in good standing with the university, a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5, a completed application, exhibit good moral character, and required letters of recommendation.
