The mission of the African Student Association (ASA) at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities is to create a forum where Africans and non-Africans can come together and openly discuss issues concerning Africa and Africans while educating the University and the community at large about Africa and her many rich cultures.

African Nite, Red Spots, Mr/Ms. Africa UMN, Festival of African nations

Our activities provide cultural diversity. They are educational and increase awareness of issues affecting Africans here on campus as well as around the world.

We fit into the cultural diversity category because we focus on educating the community on the events that take place in Africa. Both culturally and politically.
