Alpha Omicron Pi is a social sorority on the University of Minnesota campus. Alpha Omicron Pi's interests are to provide academic support, leadership opportunities, philanthropic events, and social events for college age women.

Group's principal activities, events, or programs:

AOII's philanthropy is Arthritis, Juvenile Arthritis, and related diseases. At Tau Chapter, we raise money for our philanthropy throughout the year with the following activities:
- Run for the Roses
-AOPizzeria
-AOPanda Express
-Strike Out Arthritis Bowling/Softball
-Sewing rice bags for arthritis patients
-Juvenile Arthritis Walk at the Mall of America
-Omicron Week

Members of AOII also attend numerous social events throughout the year including formals and exchanges with other fraternities and sororities.

AOII's dedication to philanthropy along with its members' high level of participation in leadership at the University of Minnesota demonstrates the strong connection our organization has with the university. AOII members continue to hold a wide range of academic interests and many have served as Welcome Week Leaders, Admissions Ambassadors, and leaders within their colleges.
