The Commuter Connection provides an environment for first year, second year, and transfer students to socialize, and express any concerns or needs. We also organize events and activities for commuter students throughout the University.
Group's principal activities, events, or programs:
Open houses, bi-weekly bagel breakfasts, monthly special event lunches, Commuter Awareness Day, and other social on-campus events.
How this group's activities benefit the University community:
We help make sure that all U of M commuter students have the opportunity to feel connected to the university community.
How this group fits into its categories:
We are here to help commuter students succeed academically by providing computers and a study space. We provide services to help commuter students feel engaged on campus and aware of resources. We also put on special events and activities to help ensure commuters are getting involved on campus.
