Students interested in and/or majoring in economics. We will provide a forum for guest speakers, support for students taking economics courses, schedule field trips and activities, and provide social activities for members.

Group's principal activities, events, or programs:

The Economics Student Organization is to promote the field of economics. We will provide economic tutoring, field trips, guest speakers, and an environment to share the passion and professionalism of economics among the student body.

How this group's activities benefit the University community:

The organization provides help in the field of economics to students who may be struggling in related courses. We also provide a source of unity among those interested in the field and wish to gather with those who share that same interest.

The Economic Student Organization is an academic and educational student group. Together we provide a vital source of knowledge in the field of economics. We are an outlet for those who seek economic studies help. Our goal is to also inform those who express interest in economics exactly what the area of study entails and how it not only affects their life but the whole world.

How to get involved with this group:

We will be posting ads with dates, times and location regarding when we meet throughout much of campus. We will also send out emails to the econ listserv informing them of our meetings. We have a website that provides much more information on how to join and current and past activities.
