To provide an environment where people can learn about supply chain management and operations management and be provided with further opportunities in the field. The club will educate and encourage students in other majors of the importance of supply chain and operations management.
Group's principal activities, events, or programs:
The Undergraduate Supply Chain and Operations Club is a club geared specifically for students who are interested in either the Supply Chain or Operations Management major at the Carlson School. SCOC hosts regularly scheduled speaker events related to the supply chain field, along with weekly meetings. SCOC also offers excellent leadership experience.
How this group's activities benefit the University community:
We help bridge the gap between students and corporate partners. Our club works to locate professional societies and industry representatives specific to these majors, so that our members can get viable contacts for intern positions and jobs.
How this group fits into its categories:
The purpose of the club is to promote the areas of supply chain and operations as fields of study and potential careers.
How to get involved with this group:
