SWIG-UM exists to promote and enhance the participation of women in the field of Geography. By organizing educational and social events, we provide both a support group for women in Geography and a voice to speak on issues of concern to women geographers.

social and academic events designed to support graduate students and women in the discipline of Geography.

we raise awareness about diversity in geography and academia in general.
