Purpose

This award recognizes a student group that showed innovation and/or fostered creativity through their program/events.

Judging Criteria

Eligibility

  • Nominees must be student groups currently registered with Student Unions & Activities.
  • Nominations may be based on any aspect in which the group has demonstrated outstanding innovation or creativity. For example: recruitment, marketing, outreach to campus community, use of resources, officer training, event planning, etc.
  • Student Group(s) must have demonstrated this innovation during calendar year 2008.
  • Nominations are due on Thursday, March 5th by 8:00am.

Essay Questions

In order to complete the nomination, the nominator will have to complete essay questions. Please limit your response to each of these questions to 250 words.

  1. Describe the way in which a student group showed innovation and/or fostered creativity in one or more areas of the overall group's functioning.
  2. How did this innovation positively impact the campus community?
  3. How did this innovation positively impact the student group and individual members?
