Outstanding Co-sponsored Program/Event

Purpose

This award recognizes student groups that have best demonstrated their collaborative efforts in planning and executing a program and/or event.

Eligibility

  • Nominees must be student groups currently registered with Student Unions & Activities.
  • Nominated student group must have coordinated efforts with another registered student group in organizing and carrying out a successful program/event during calendar year 2008.
  • Nominations are due on Thursday, March 5th by 8:00am.

Essay Questions

In order to complete the nomination, the nominator will have to complete essay questions. Please limit your response to each of these questions to 250 words.

  1. Please describe the program/event that shows an outstanding collaboration between two or more student groups. Details MUST include: Date of event, number of participants, program purpose (i.e. goals and objectives), member involvement, use of resources (financial, etc.), marketing techniques and evaluation processes.
  2. What did each group contribute to the program/event?
  3. How did this program serve the campus and/or community?
