Outstanding Graduate/Professional Student Group Advisor
Purpose
Co-sponsored by the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly (GAPSA), this award recognizes one outstanding advisor of a graduate or professional student group who has gone above and beyond to help their group accomplish its mission and goals.
Judging Criteria
Eligibility
- Nominees must be advisors for student groups currently registered with Student Unions & Activities (advisor does not need to be a University of Minnesota employee to be eligible).
- Nominations are due on Thursday, March 5th by 8:00am.
Essay Questions
In order to complete the nomination, the nominator will have to complete essay questions. Please limit your response to each of these questions to 250 words.
- What is the role of the advisor in the student group?
- Provide specific examples of how the advisor has gone above and beyond to help the student group reach its mission and goals.
- How have individual members personally benefited from the advisor's guidance?
