Outstanding Graduate or Professional Student Group of the Year
Purpose
This award recognizes student groups who predominantly serve graduate or professional students and demonstrated significant success and development in following the mission and goals of their group.
Judging Criteria
Eligibility
- Nominees must be student groups currently registered with Student Unions & Activities.
- Student Group must be established for more than 3 years.
- Nominations are due on Thursday, March 5th by 8:00am.
Essay Questions
In order to complete the nomination, the nominator will have to complete essay questions. Please limit your response to each of these questions to 250 words.
- What is the purpose and goal(s) of the student group?
- Please address how the student group is outstanding in the following area: recruitment, marketing, outreach to campus community, use of resources (financial, etc.), officer training and event planning.
- Provide specific examples of how the student group demonstrated growth and development in calendar year 2008.
