Purpose

This award recognizes the student group that has best demonstrated their efforts in planning and executing a program and/or event. The program/event should be organized by a single group.

Eligibility

  • Nominees must be student groups currently registered with Student Unions & Activities.
  • Student Group must have registered and carried out a significantly successful program/event during the calendar year of 2008.
  • Program/event should be organized by a single group.
  • Nominations are due on Thursday, March 5th by 8:00am.

Essay Questions

In order to complete the nomination, the nominator will have to complete essay questions. Please limit your response to each of these questions to 250 words.

  1. Describe the program/event that best meets the mission and goals of the student group. Details MUST include: Date of event, number of participants, program purpose (i.e. goals and objectives), member involvement, use of resources (financial, etc.), marketing techniques and evaluations process.
  2. How did this program serve the campus and/or community?
