Purpose

How to Apply

Find out how to apply for grants.

To promote student development by providing supplemental financial support to activities and special events that offer opportunities for students to enhance their educational development. Grant eligibility is detailed below:

Administrative Grant Overview

  • Funds for activities, publications, events and conferences.
  • Open to groups currently registered with Student Activities.
  • Funds represent contributions from University administration; thus, applicants may not seek additional funding from other University administrative offices.

Student Services Fees (SSF) Event Grant

  • Funds for non-fee receiving registered student groups.
  • Priority of funding is awarded to registered student groups who collaborate with one or more registered student groups, however individual non-fee receiving student group events may be considered for up to $500 per event.
  • Collaboration funds: groups who partner with one or more student group are eligible for up to $1,000 per partnering organization.
  • If a fees-receiving group partners with a non-fees receiving group, only the non-fees receiving group is eligible for SSF Event Grant funds, however the groups will be considered for up to $1,000 in funding per non-fee receiving group.
  • Eligibility for the collaboration funds is meant as more than just monetary support.
  • Throughout the application, and pre- and post-event meetings, groups qualifying for the collaboration funds must demonstrate the involvement of all student groups in the partnership.
