Student Group Space Allocation
The second floor of Coffman Union is dedicated to office space for more than 30 registered student groups and cultural centers. View a list of these groups on the Coffman second floor directory. Space ranges from large office spaces to cubicles and storage areas. Groups obtain space through an application process facilitated by the Student Unions & Activities Board of Governors. Applications are typically available in early February and are due in late February. Groups who currently have space annually re-apply. Groups interested in obtaining space use the same process.
Criteria for groups to be considered for space are as follows:
- Must be registered with Student Activities
- Proposed/existing office hours, accessibility to students
- Programs and events and/or services provided.
- Proposed/existing utilization of space.
The Board of Governors site has complete details on the Space Allocation Process if you would like to learn more.
