Student Unions & Activities offers many involvement opportunities where students book, promote, and execute events for fellow University of Minnesota-Twin Cities students and the campus community. Five Program Board coordinators provide leadership for each of the committee chairs, as well as assist student employees in programming for Goldy's Gameroom and Gopher Spot. They also plan Homecoming and Spring Jam events.

The Minneapolis Events committee plans activities at Coffman Memorial Union during the academic school year, in addition to picking the weekly free films at both Coffman Memorial Union and the St. Paul Student Center. Annual activities include a Halloween Party in the fall, Last Gopher Standing comedy competition, and Awkward Dance in the spring. They also book large, nationally recognized concert artists and comedians for the entire student community!
The St. Paul Programs Events committee plans and implements a variety of monthly activities and programs for members of the St. Paul Campus community.
The Visual Arts Committee curates, designs, and installs student and professional art exhibitions in the Larson Art Gallery at the St. Paul Student Center, and Coffman Art Gallery. This committee also plans a variety of gallery events, and art appreciation events throughout the year.
For the past 30 years, the Whole Music Club has brought cutting-edge music to the University of Minnesota. This committee manages the venue, selects bands, coordinates shows, and promotes concerts on a regular basis. Previous bands to perform at the Whole include Cloud Cult, Shabazz Palaces, Sims, Jeremy Messersmith, Dan Deacon, and many other local and student bands.
